This is an on-site position in Arilington, VA. The Business Development Account Representative will support MBH’s Old Town Venture Partners joint venture working from our Arlington office and supporting other Northern VA offices. This role is a forward-thinking, action-oriented business development specialist, providing accurate information regarding competitors, pricing, demographics, trends, and opportunities with a focus on increasing revenue and growing market share. Develop business opportunities through networking, marketing events, and creative sales solutions. Implement marketing and sales plans and utilize promotional materials and effectively communicate company messaging. Participate in companywide marketing events. Use marketing expertise and local market knowledge to generate ideas and help direct strategy and planning for promotional materials, sale tactics, and other sales and marketing activities. May participate in conferences, exhibitions, and marketing seminars. May support other branches or regions as assigned. In this role you will perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Drive revenue by capturing new business for assigned joint venture, branch, or region. Support marketing and sales initiatives
- Help increase current revenue streams through collaboration with local management, the corporate office team, and the joint venture partner. Provide outstanding client service.
- Assess and analyze markets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Present findings to the management team to help guide direction and activities.
- Brainstorm and develop successful sales strategies and tactics based on assessment of assigned target markets and overall company direction.
- Ensure compliance with company’s brand marketing guidelines throughout each product to create a cohesive feel to each campaign.
- Track results of efforts closely and provide feedback to management. Adjust marketing plans as needed.

- Maintain industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks.
- Occasional after-hours attendance at Marketing/Business Development events required.
- Frequent travel required across MBH footprint.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field (or equivalent experience to meet requisite skill level).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related marketing and business development experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years in the title/settlement or real estate industry required.
- Previous sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
- Analytical , strong organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- Aptitude and drive to develop new business and revenue streams.
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media, etc.) and market research methods.

We are seeking a full-time in office title processing professional to join and support our team in Odenton. This is not a remote position. In this role you will perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Work closely and develop relationships with realtors, loan officers, lenders, buyers and sellers
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Real Estate Contracts, title abstracts, lender documents, etc.
- Examine title and clear issues including but not limited to judgments, liens, prior unreleased mortgages, and tax liens
- Order mortgage payoffs, obtain HOA and Condo Account Statements, water account information, lien certs, ground rent, etc.
- Coordinate and schedule settlement with multiple parties.
- Prepare and balance Closing Disclosures with lenders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Continuously increase market penetration within a defined territory, measured by the number of orders and revenue growth.
- Generate, nurture, and manage long-term client relationships with real estate agents, brokerages, and other real estate service providers.
- Client Service & Settlement Process
