This position is responsible for the files after they have "closed," and is responsible for sending all of the stipulations and documents that are requested in a timely manner to required entities. In addition, the person in this position sends documents back to the borrowers that were not signed and/or incorrect at the real estate settlement closing.

Essential Duties:


-Delivers Closing Packages to be tracked and confirmed; runs "Loan Closed Package Not Received" reports every morning via our dedicated website.
- Monitors files that have already closed
- Sends the lender/broker all of the stipulations and document requests in a timely manner
- Sends documents to borrowers that were not signed and/or incorrect at closing and monitors their proper return
- Verifies that all requests from the lender have been fulfilled so the file can be properly funded (disbursed), filed, and recorded.
-Verifies that all documents are correct and ready to record.
-Sends documents for recording and assists with final title policies.
-Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

-Must be proficient with Outlook
-Able to create Excel spreadsheets.
-Position requires knowledge of basic computer systems and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
-Requires demonstrated skill in data entry.
-Experience with E-recording, nationwide.
-Demonstrated ability to manage emails to complete client requests
-Excellent communication skills
-Must be able to deal with internal departments, as well as company clients.
-Demonstrated knowledge of ALTA/CD settlement statements and real estate closing documents.

The Settlement Processor should have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding environment.   • Preparing HUD-1 and CD forms in accordance with federal, state, and county laws.
  • Assisting in ordering title searches, surveys, payoffs, lien releases, and other items required for the contract.
  • Finalizing all documents for closings.
  • Communicating with all parties (vendors, borrowers, mortgage brokers, lenders) throughout the transaction to coordinate and complete signing.
