Closing & Vendor Management Assistant- Rockville, MD

Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting with the scheduling of all real estate closings, assigning closing vendors, and confirming all closings. This position also monitors the performance of the vendors and uses the information to confirm the most effective vendor for the request. Position also assists Vendor Manager with all title products and typing turn time for title work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Check loan document email and verify that the documents have been received.
• Scan and upload documents as they are received.
• Email loan documents to the closing agent and confirm that they been have received and that the closing will take place on time.
• Schedule closing on the web calendar, and assign to a closing vendor.
• Confirm that all closings were successful.
• Return all voicemails and emails within 1 hour.
• Communicate with the Processing and Client Services departments when the closer must have the documents.
• Communicate with the lender or broker if the documents are not dated correctly.
• Notify the broker if loan did not close.
• Assist with vendor turn times for title, and note website for current status of all late files and turn time resolution follow up.
• Review the clear to close report daily with the Vendor Manager to move all work forward.
• Assist in sending out all products to insure timely delivery to client.
• Report issues that cannot be resolved the same day to the Vendor Manager.
• Respond to clients timely and professionally.
